    Sézane is a renowned clothing brand known for its stylish and sustainable fashion offerings. With a strong emphasis on ethical practices and high-quality craftsmanship, Sézane creates timeless pieces that reflect a sense of Parisian elegance. Their online platform provides a seamless shopping experience, allowing customers to explore and purchase their thoughtfully collections.

    Mission

      The brand had seen significant success, but their daily order management needed improvement. Our goal was to understand their process and use their expertise to create an efficient business tool. This tool would streamline their production process by managing suppliers, facilitating manufacturer orders, and optimizing store deliveries, leading to even greater success.

      Challenges

      Throughout the project, we addressed these challenges by implementing user-centric strategies and leveraging our expertise in UX design. By streamlining product versions, managing profile rights, improving order tracking, simplifying form completion, and optimizing stock management, we aimed to enhance the overall user experience and improve operational efficiency.

      Product versions

      The appearance of the product pages posed a challenge due to the existence of different versions of the product, such as color variations, button changes, or fabric options. Our focus was to ensure a seamless user experience by effectively presenting and classifying these product versions.

      Profile rights

      Understanding and administering the correct profile rights for individuals involved in the business was of utmost importance. We aimed to establish a clear understanding of each person’s role in order to manage and assign the appropriate profile rights accurately.

      Order Tracking

      Accurate tracking of manufacturer orders, particularly when dealing with different fabrics that could have up to a 4-week difference in arrival, was vital. We implemented a robust tracking system to closely monitor and manage the status of orders, ensuring timely updates and effective communication.

      Forms

      Simplifying the weekly task of form completion was crucial to save time and prevent errors. We focused on streamlining the form completion process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

      Stock management

      Developing a system for quick and efficient stock reorganization was essential, aligning with their planning and addressing unforeseen circumstances effectively.

      Design methodology

      By adhering to this methodology, we ensure that our design process is research-driven, iterative, and focused on meeting the needs and expectations of our target users. This approach allows us to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

      Research and analysis

        • Conducting an ergonomic audit to assess usability and identify areas of improvement.
        • Observing users and conducting interviews to gain valuable insights into their needs and pain points.
        • Mapping user journeys and creating storymaps to visualize the user’s interactions and touchpoints.
        • Utilizing treemaps to analyze and organize information effectively.
        • Facilitating backlog workshops to prioritize and plan design iterations.

        Ideation and strategy

          • Collaboratively generating 15 sketches with the design team to explore diverse design possibilities.
          • Developing a visual design guided by an artistic director, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing interface.
          • Conducting user tests using animated prototypes to gather feedback and validate design decisions.

          Conception and visual design

          • Applying the insights gained from user research to inform the conception and refinement of the design.
          • Iterating on the visual design based on user feedbacks and testing results, aiming for optimal user experience.
