    Relais & Châteaux is an esteemed association of independent luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants. With a global presence, they curate exceptional properties known for their authenticity and charm. Each establishment offers personalized service and showcases renowned culinary expertise. Their handpicked collection promises unforgettable experiences for discerning travelers seeking elegance and gastronomic delights.

    Mission

      Our goal was to make reservations effortless and provide support during guests’ stays by suggesting activities and sharing historical information about local sites. The application aimed to enhance the overall customer experience, ensuring their needs were met with ease and efficiency.

      Challenges

      Throughout the project, we tackled these challenges by implementing strategies to simplify the reservation process, ensuring the availability of comprehensive hotel information, and presenting the right content for activities and sites. By addressing these issues, we aimed to enhance the overall user experience and facilitate informed decision-making.

      User behaviors

      One of the challenges we encountered was the need to streamline the reservation process due to a significant percentage of last-minute reservations for romantic getaways, even during weekdays.

      Hotels information

      We faced difficulties in obtaining a consistent amount of information that aligned with the interface structure. It was crucial for us to gather and present comprehensive details about the hotels, ensuring that users had access to all the necessary information to make informed decisions.

      Activities and sites information

      Another challenge we encountered was providing the appropriate location and content for various activities and sites. We understood that this played a pivotal role in users’ decision-making process. It was important for us to strike the right balance in presenting relevant information about different attractions and activities, allowing users to make well-informed choices.

      Design methodology
