Concept

Our job mission is to understand the company’s internal organization and government regulations to develop an automated process for creating and tracking energy grant applications. By doing so, we aim to save time internally, minimize errors, and expedite the commencement of projects as soon as possible. This will result in a smoother workflow and greater efficiency.

    Mission

Our job mission was to understand the company’s internal organization and government regulations to develop an automated process for creating and tracking energy grant applications. By doing so, we aim to save time internally, minimize errors, and expedite the commencement of projects as soon as possible. This will result in a smoother workflow and greater efficiency.

      Challenges

In this project, we tackled various challenges by implementing user-friendly strategies and leveraging our expertise in platform management and automation. One significant complexity was the ever-changing government regulations, requiring us to develop a flexible system that could easily adapt to these modifications.

      Processes and management rights

Dealing with validation processes presented a challenge due to the distinct roles and permissions held by various departments within the system. It was vital to comprehend the internal operations and establish suitable management rights for each department.

      Document management and verification

The management and verification of necessary documents for the project were time-consuming. To overcome this, we concentrated on developing a streamlined experience for importing, verifying, and sending reminders for any omissions or errors in the documents.

Secure authentication and efficient contract signatures

Ensuring secure authentication and contract signatures were crucial aspects. We meticulously selected an online signature tool that met the requirements of time efficiency, profile verification, and effective reminder functionalities.

      Design methodology

      Research and analysis

        • Conducting an ergonomic audit to assess usability and identify areas of improvement.
        • Observing users and conducting interviews to gain valuable insights into their needs and pain points.
        • Mapping user journeys and creating storymaps to visualize the user’s interactions and touchpoints.
        • Utilizing treemaps to analyze and organize information effectively.
        • Facilitating backlog workshops to prioritize and plan design iterations.

        Ideation and strategy

          • Collaboratively generating 20 sketches with the design team to explore diverse design possibilities.
          • Developing a visual design guided by an artistic director, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing interface.
          • Conducting user tests using animated prototypes to gather feedback and validate design decisions.

          Conception and visual design

          • Applying the insights gained from user research to inform the conception and refinement of the design.
          • Iterating on the visual design based on user feedbacks and testing results, aiming for optimal user experience.
